Great work, had them paint two decks! Communication with their office prior to work being done all the way until work was completed was excellent!

When you’re considering paints, you should also factor in the type of exterior that needs to be covered. Different sidings require different preparations and may also need different types of paints to achieve the best results. Metal or aluminum are materials that require both sanding and priming prior to any application of paint. For the best adherence, the siding must be primed at least twice. This, of course, increases the amount of time invested in the project as well as the expenses for additional materials.
Everything from the estimate to the finished product went without a hitch. The crew were professional and took great care to be neat and complete. No request went unattended and you can always tell when people take pride in their work. I'm looking forward to future projects with Kelly involved.

Interior painting labor charges are usually calculated by the hour, with the additional cost of paint and materials.
A professional usually applies a layer of primer followed by one to three coats of paint. They have a clear eye to find any mistakes so that they can make any necessary touch-ups. Painters either charge by the hour or per square foot. A house painter’s cost per hour can be anywhere from $25 to $100, with the average project —painting a 2,500 sq.ft. house costing between $10,300 to $16,750. Generally, this project takes two to four days with two or three painters on the job. With that being said, you can expect to pay between $1,500 and $5,000 in labor costs alone.
The average cost of painting a home depends primarily on the size of a home. One variable is the condition of the surfaces to be painted; scratched or damaged surfaces may take more paint or may need some work before painting begins. Another variable is the height of the areas to be painted. Higher walls and ceilings increase the cost. Other factors include the regional cost of labor, the texture of the surfaces (textured surfaces use more paint) and the quality of paint that will be used.
From bidding the job to completing the job, the whole staff at Kelly Brother's Painting was professional and a pleasure to work with. We had our windows replaced and they painted the new exterior window trim and molding that had to be installed around the inside of the windows. We had some color hiccups to match the exterior body color, but it was resolved fairly and handled exceptionally. Having painters in the house with home schooling children and several yapping dogs can make a stressful situation, but Brian and Justin made it easy and worry free. They do excellent work and the results show it.
4 general steps usually followed by the estimator to calculate interior painting:Take the measurement and count the number of things to be painted, including the required preparatory work and clean-up. Determine the number of hours it will take using common production rates.Multiply the hours by the hourly rate of the painting company. The painter’s wages, the projected and overhead net profit of the company, as well as payroll contributions, are all included in the hourly rate. Add the cost of paint and materials to the above cost. You should also take into consideration the cost of any equipment rented for this painting job.
Then on the day that painting started, I met 2 wonderful gentlemen who also walked my property and verified what was to be painted. The were very professional, respectful and provided the highest level of customer service. My house has now been painted snd looks wonderful.
House was 1,100 SQ Ft and only soffit and trim were painted. Garage was 480 Sq ft and that needed 100% of area painted. Charged me $524.00 for supplies and $2,690.00 for labor. I feel like he charged nearly $1,000 too much. He did not repair any wood but said he washed the exterior and sanded and caulked as needed. Did I pay too much?
