I had my condo painted by Kelly Brothers. Justo and his crew Eqrue and Jesus. Took them 5 day's painting everything. All closets, doors, trim and baseboards. They painted two coats on all ceiling and walls. Justo and his crew did a excellent job & I would recommend them to anyone. I walked in several times without them noticing and they took their time being very careful while painting. Pleasant and friendly. No I didn't know anyone in this company before I had it painted. The estimaent seemed a little high but I always believe you get what you pay for and it was well worth it. They left me three gallons of paint one for each color I had painted. Thanks again Justo, Eqrue and Jesus.

Painting a 2,500 sq.ft. house will cost between $7,500 and $10,000 on average. You’ll need to hire professional painters and use between six to seven gallons of paint. This is generally the size of an average home. Prices for your project may vary depending on how complex the job is and if you’re painting your ceilings, too.
Before a new paint job is done, it is important to make sure you don’t have any old paint chipping away and causing problems.
Some of the Major Variables to consider that impact the cost of interior painting are: The Height of the Ceilings – there can be a big difference in labor between 8’ ceilings and 12’ ceilings, not to mention more drywall to paint. The current colors and the new colors – this can effect how many coats and what type of paint to use at times. The Prep involved – is the drywall evenly textured, are there anchor & nail holes to patch? Does the trim need sanding, caulking, or puttying? The environment we will be working in – are the rooms empty, or will they have furniture in the middle? What type of floors are there? Will they need special coverings to protect them? What kind of doors or trim do you have – are the doors paneled or flat? Do you have single or double layered crown? Will the colors change or stay the same? Are they painting in oil or latex?

Just as you might want to bundle interior and exterior painting, you could add deck staining if you need it, too. Most homeowners nationwide pay $695 to $1,000 to have a contractor stain their deck.
Some hours are more difficult to paint than others. For instance, older, taller houses are delicate to paint, which is why it would be best to leave them to professional painters.
However, exterior painting is grueling work. It involves days or weeks of physical labor, including tedious tasks such as scraping and sanding and dangerous activities such as climbing a ladder. If you want to avoid all of that, consider hiring a professional painting contractor.

If you're not confident in your ability to cut a clean, straight line with your paint brush - you might want to consider using some blue painter's tape to mask off any window and door trim, baseboards, crown moldings, etc. that you don't want to accidentally bump with your brush and roller cover.

When applying a coat of paint on the exterior, professional painters will look at other larger issues that you might not have noticed. With time, mold, mildew, rotting wood, and water stains can begin to eat into your walls, and regular painting will reveal such damages before they become apparent.
Many of us live for years with interior paint that’s seen better days, or in less-than-inspiring colors, simply because we’re clueless about the cost of having a room repainted. Even if we have the budget for an interior paint job, the “not knowing” can cause us to procrastinate.
