Closets, pantries, and nooks are relatively easy to paint and do not add a ton of additional costs to a job. Don’t forget, larger walk-in closets can cost more to paint based on their size and amount of wall space not covered by shelving. Painting closets can cost as little as $60 – $280 for smaller or medium-sized spaces. The pricing for walk-in closets can be compared to bathrooms with similar sq ft dimensions Costs can also vary if you add trim, ceilings, or additional preparation or repairs

The paintable area of most homes ranges from 500 square feet on the small end to 4,000 square feet on the large end. You’ll usually pay between $1.25 and $4.17 per square foot for professional painting, or a national average rate of $2.71 per square foot. When estimating interior painting costs, the first step is measuring the entire painting surface of your home or room. The example below is for a 10’ x 12’ room with an 8’ ceiling, one door, and one window. Measure the perimeter of the room – For a 10’ x 12’ room, add the four wall lengths.
So far our best purchase has been the shop vac sanding attachment (around $35 from amazon); with a HEPA filter in the vac, we’re getting no sanding dust in the house.
In his life and career, Mike espouses the importance of honesty. “I really believe that you’re only as good as your word, which is why I always deliver what I promise,” he explains. “My integrity is very important to me in how I live my life and run my business, and honesty is at the forefront of that.”

Because I used to be a teacher in the past life, I know how to make house painting simple.
This is an important trick to use when you’re painting in high humidity whether you’re indoors or outdoors. Instead of one or two moderate to thick coats, opt for several thin coats. Thin coats of paint will dry at a quicker rate, which means they’re more likely to cure without issue.
Greg has been involved in the painting industry his whole life—he started doing summer work when he was a teenager, and when he moved from the East Coast to California, his first full-time job was with a painting contractor in San Mateo. After working for three painting contractors in San Francisco and Marin over a 12-year span, he finally established his own company, Solidarity Painting, Inc., in 1990. Greg’s professional emphasis on quality was evident in Solidarity Painting’s ability to not only withstand but actually prosper during the economic downturn of 2008. “When many painting businesses were folding, we were actually expanding,” he says. “In 2009, we moved from a 1,000-square-foot shop to a 2,500-square-foot shop.”

Mr Paritosh, I am not sure about actual application of PVC in this case. I have seen people using acrylic panels on wall ,not PVC. I am not sure what material & application you are talking about. Please talk to some expert, I think you should apply coat of primer or some chemical on brick wall before covering it with finish material directly. This is not proven option, so you will need to experiment & see how it goes. Between idea sounds interesting – save on plastering & paneling. We did one room where client wanted one wall to remain as brick wall. We did primer on it, it was left as highlighter. Such experimental ideas are risk prone. In most cases they do not last for years. Either they dont stay functional or you stop liking it.
You can even consider applying a stain-blocking primer to take care of problem areas in your home’s trim or siding. This can also come in handy to cover issues that are not removable, like rust.
