We hired Ruben's painting to paint the exterior home. Over the phone, he stated he would would paint, patch stucco fixtures, and sand wood trims. Only thing he did was power wash and paint the exterior of the home. Their quality of work was not what we expected. The owner and his workers failed to provide exceptional work. They were suppose to patch stucco fixtures, sand wood trims. The paint on the front door and vents are peeling off. The work was messy and they did not clean up well. They left paint all over the roofing tile and windows. The owner should be around more to supervise his workers. We are dissatisfied and disappointed with this business. Please do your due diligence before hiring this company. .
Before we begin, we’ll protect floors and furniture and prep walls and surfaces by filling voids and cracks, hand scraping and sanding, and spot priming repairs. Only then will we begin to paint, using only the finest quality paints and finishes from Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, and PPG.
Painting Tip! Sometimes your painting company will leave you with extra paint leftover from your trim painting project. Use it to touch up major nicks and dings to prolong the life of your trim.

Not all paints are created equal though- different types of paints have different drying times. For oil based paints, let the walls dry for at least 24-hours before re-applying. However, if you are using a latex based paint you can begin your second coat in 4-6 hours.
If you want to paint your tiny home, you will pay between $677 and $2,250. The average tiny home in the United States is just 225 sq.ft., which means the cost to paint the entire house, inside and out, starts at just $677 on the inexpensive side and $2,250 for the highest-quality paints and materials. The tiny home movement has swept the nation, with fans of minimalism flocking to the trend, but a minimalist or cozy lifestyle does not mean you need to sacrifice style and quality for a tiny home's paint.

You should paint your house exterior every 5 to 10 years. Painted wood surfaces last 4 to 8 years while brick and stucco can last 6 to 11 years. Of course, this depends on how much care your painters put into exterior prep work. A poorly painted exterior won’t last 1 or 2 seasons before the paint starts peeling. That’s why hiring an exterior painting company with a good written warranty like Improovy is important.
Our team of painters did a great job on the exterior of our 2-storey house. Luis, Simon, and Pancho were courteous, detailed, friendly, communicative, careful, clever, and did amazing work perched upon very tall ladders for 10 days. The office team were also responsive and friendly. I'd recommend them to you.
5. Paint siding. Apply paint (preferably with an eggshell or satin finish) using a roller for large open spaces and a brush for more detailed work around the trim and other features. Work from top to bottom, and overlap each stroke to ensure you don’t miss any spots. After the first coat dries, you’ll likely have to add a second coat, maybe more depending on the siding material.
The section “Prep work” describes the preparation needed when painting: moving and covering furniture, cleaning the walls, etc. Sections “Primer” and “Colors” explain the different types of primers and the finishes that a color can have.
Painting textured walls can be a bit more challenging, but it is possible. On average, it costs between $4 to $7 per sq.ft. Your painters will need special tools such as rough surface painter’s tape, angled brushes, nap rollers, and masonry paint to do this correctly. For best results, make sure the surface is clear of any dirt or mildew. They will also have to peel away any old, flaky paint before starting, which could take more time and increase the overall cost.
Cut-in one wall at a time using the same method as described above for the ceiling cut-in. Be sure to also cut-in around doors, windows, baseboards, etc.
Another popular darker exterior house shade that is picking up steam is Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams. This trending color is characterized as a rich, dark gray that reads more like deep charcoal than black.
